Plain-language summary: The Print Hive prepares custom branded products based on the details and artwork you supply. Final pricing, production timelines and print suitability are confirmed once we have reviewed your artwork and products. If you supply print-ready artwork at the correct dimensions, we are happy to print as-is at no design charge.
1. Quotes and pricing
Online estimates and quote requests are provisional and subject to product availability, artwork review, print method suitability, VAT treatment and final approval by The Print Hive. A quote becomes binding only once a written final quote is issued and accepted.
2. Artwork and approvals
You are responsible for supplying artwork you are authorised to use. Production starts only after artwork, mockups or layout proofs are approved where applicable. Colours may vary between screen previews and printed products due to materials, inks, coatings and production methods.
Print-ready artwork supplied at the correct dimensions and resolution is printed as-is at no additional design charge. Where artwork needs preparation — such as cleanup, resizing, adding text or frames, removing unwanted objects, or recreation for print — a graphic design package (Standard, Premium or Elite) applies and will be shown on your quote before you accept it. The Standard package is included free on qualifying orders.
3. AI-generated artwork
AI-generated images may require cleanup, vector conversion or recreation before print. Complex gradients, artefacts, low effective resolution and non-print-size files can affect quality. Additional artwork preparation may be quoted separately.
4. Product availability and lead times
Catalogue products and colours may change or become unavailable. If an item is out of stock, The Print Hive will confirm alternatives or lead time before production. Delivery dates are estimates unless confirmed in writing.
5. Payment, cancellation and custom goods
Payment terms are stated on each final quote. Custom-branded goods usually cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded after production has started unless defective or materially different from the approved specification.
6. Supplied items
When you supply your own items for branding, The Print Hive will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee print suitability or accept responsibility for manufacturing inconsistencies in supplied stock.
